The frog prince
Ribiting music.
“So I’m at a bar enjoying a beer and minding my own business, and suddenly a woman comes up to me and plants a big wet one on my lips. Next thing I know, I’m sitting here on top of a friggin’ trash can lid in the middle of nowhere, and I can’t find my pants. And my beer’s gone, too!”

The Frog Prince
So,
I’m at a bar
enjoying a beer
and minding my own business,
and suddenly a woman
comes up to me
and plants
a big wet one
on my lips.
Next thing I know,
I’m sitting here
on top
of a friggin’ trash can lid
in the middle
of nowhere,
and I can’t find
my pants.
And my beer’s gone, too!”

Your musical clip is another mystery snippet without a back story. It is very creative jazz. What is it from? Most of us would like to hear the rest of it. The pianist is having great fun tickling those ivorys, and the base fiddle thumps along happily, like a frog filling its cheeks with air and serenading us with the natural base line–but the counterpoint, those strings–that really knocks me out, gives the piece that Shapiro gusto. Is that a sythesizer or real strings; hard to tell the difference often for me.
I found a great pic of the Frog Prince to go with your latest entry on FFTR.
