The most colorful are the Ochre Sea Stars, who pile on top of each other in orgiastic glee.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.alexshapiro.org\/blog\/blogpix\/surfgrassgreen.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The greenest secret of the underworld is the surfgrass, resulting in an oceanic Ireland revealed just a few hours each month. The first time I ever saw this sight I was stunned by how vibrant and land-like these tough masses of long, slippery plants were.
