Mr. Savant,

Yeah, I've seen that, too. But let's keep the conversation about slugs. :-)

So the stories are true! Giant slugs actually inhabit the Northwest.

I thought my cousins were putting me on...

Pat Cashman does a ton of radio ads, usually running 3 to 4 consecutively. I never did watch Almost Live, so I am sad that I never saw Sluggo perform. Maybe he rode a banana down a greased slide, or peeled himself; who knows.

Welcome home, for the moment. Interesting comment by that person who was concerned about your contributing to carbon footprints. As carbon-based units ourselves, just breathing could be harmful to the environment.

SLIPPING @ 2:52 was fun to listen to. Made me slip out the CD, NOTES FROM THE KELP and listen to all 9:34 of it. Violin and harpsichord--an unlikely duo, yet oh so sweet whelped from your fertile musical mind.

Melva and I enjoyed a weekend at Sydney a couple weeks ago. It is always a joy to visit the Big Island. I think it is 300 miles long. I love the BC Ferries, half again bigger than our Super Ferries, and so clean and quiet, with great restaurants and lounges. The fares are becoming prohibitive though. 72 bucks one way from Tswasson to sidney. Melva bought some wine while up there, and the border guards demanded duty on them as we crossed over to America.

I know what Nancy Guppy is doing since "Almost Live" went off the air.
And I see and hear Pat Cashman often, likewise Joel, and others of that sterling cast.
It's nice to see that Sluggo appears to to be enjoying his/her retirement.
