I have lived in the Pacific Northwest all of my life, and spent many summers traveling by boat all through out the San Juans, and one very memorable winter weekend at Roche Harbor.

(or maybe it is still night for you up there). Life must be slower where you are as your webclock registers 9:02 whereas my wristwatch says 9:12. Ah well, we always do live a faster pace down here in foggy, overcast SoCal:-). You are so missed here, but it sounds like you are having the best time acclimating to your new surroundings and enjoying your creature comforts in the literal sense.
